Holiday Announced Today: On Monday, the Punjab government said that March 11 will be a holiday in Lahore because it is the annual Urs (death anniversary) of Hazrat Shah Hussain, who is more commonly known as Madhu Lal Hussain.
The provincial government’s Services and General Administration Department sent out a notice saying, “It is hereby notified to the general public that a local holiday will be held in the Lahore District on Saturday, March 11, 2023, because of the “Annual Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Madhu Lal Hussain (R.A.)”

“Only the district level and its subordinate offices in the district of Lahore will celebrate the holiday,” the statement said.
