Punjab Gives School Teachers 25000 Jobs: The Punjab government has decided to post about 25,000 teaching jobs in government schools across the province.

In this regard, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, the Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab, led the seventh provincial cabinet meeting yesterday at the CM’s office.

In his speech at the meeting, the CM of Punjab said that his government is doing a good job of carrying out its public service duties.

The provincial School Education Department (SED) was also able to hire 25,000 new teachers because of the meeting. Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said that it was done because Malala Yousafzai asked for it to be.

Also, CM Punjab passed the Punjab Public Defender Service Bill, 2020, and said that the poor will get free legal help from the provincial government under the new law. The CM says that this step will lead to the creation of around 1,000 jobs.

Also, the meeting agreed to buy 300 hybrid buses that are better for the environment in Lahore. When talking about the buses, the CM said that Rs. 15 billion will be spent to buy them and that women will have their bus stops and buses in the metropolis.
